Remembering Jake

Jake Seay

Our mini poodle Jake joined our family as an abused rescue 13 years ago. He soon greeted me at the door with 3 foot vertical leaps and wiggles and his favorite place was snuggled between my husband and the arm of his recliner. He loved to chase balls, hide his treats and chews, adored our children and was a companion to 2 other poodles who passed before him. He was both a rascal and sweet. He faced the challenges of old age with pluck and determination. At about 16 years old, robbed of vision and hearing and in decline, we sought Dr. Thorpe’s guidance. She made his last hour peaceful and gave me reassurance that we made the right decision. Thank you.
